Logline: One brief moment of madness leads to a sadomasochistic love.   Synopsis: 'Brief Encounter' meets 'Secretary' in this quirky, tragi-comic tale that slaps you square in the face and undresses your obsessions. Adam and Evie are loved-up in an 'unconventional' relationship that starts to unwind after one chance meeting at a railway station. Daisy catches the same commuter train as Adam and a strange, obsessional relationship flourishes between them while another begins to untie. But the obsession leads both of them into a very dark tunnel and a destination neither of them wants to go. However, there is a light. SLAPPER DISTRIBUTION     Both my previous 2 short films have been signed by Shorts International and aired around the world on Shorts TV in the US and EMEA markets. We intend to follow the same path with 'Slapper' to build momentum and 'noise' via this channel.     However, this does not preclude us from entering festival and we have put money aside to enter 5 or 6 marque events including Cannes, Rome and the major British shorts festivals over the next year.     Once the Shorts International contract has expired, we have an offer from Argonon (who distribute via Tiger Films for C4 etc) to review the film for consideration re terrestrial channel.     This will enable us to release the DVD in short content form via iTunes.     We have considered the Youtube/Vimeo channel and decided that by following the above strategy, this will have to wait until the contract with Shorts International ends (3 years) and we can publically broadcast.
